Marc Angel was born on April 4, 1980 in Tucson Arizona, in the heart of the USA, where he also spent the first 2 years of his life. In 1982 his father, who was a soldier in the US Army, was transferred to Germany. As his mother was born in Germany, it was no question for the family to go to Germany with him. Marc Angel grew up in a small town on the Lower Rhine, where he also went to school. He became interested in music at a very early age. He attended the local music school, but never really got to grips with playing sheet music. Instead, he began to compose his own songs. At some point, Marc discovered electronic music. Much to the disgust of his parents, he attended various techno parties. As he became more and more interested in this type of music, he bought two record players and a mixer and started mixing records. He also started writing his first electronic tracks. It wasn't long before he was playing at his friends' first small private parties. After a while, he was also booked for smaller public events. He tried his hand at almost all electronic styles. And tried to combine them in his tracks and sets. As he could never really get to grips with the more "commercial" styles of electronic music, he settled on underground techno. As it was no longer enough for Marc Angel to just play at parties, he applied to various internet radio stations and organized his own radio shows.
