Biography

Marc Angel, born on April 4, 1980, in Tucson, Arizona (USA), moved to Germany as a toddler due to his father's military assignment. Raised in the Lower Rhine region, Marc discovered his love for music early on. As a child, he played with melodies and sounds, later composing his own songs during his teenage years.

His journey into electronic music began in the late 1990s—a time when raves, techno clubs, and electronic culture were booming across Europe. Fascinated by the scene, Marc immersed himself in music production, learned to use digital audio workstations, built a home studio, and refined his sound over the years.

Starting with private parties, his DJ sets gained attention and evolved into public gigs, local club shows, and online radio broadcasts, where he also presented his own productions. Marc's style quickly became known for its emotional depth, hypnotic energy, and solid structure.

Marc also launched his producer alias Da-Blunt Project as a project to release tracks blending trance, techno, and progressive elements. His productions range from atmospheric and melodic to raw and dark—always distinct and heartfelt. The track "The End" is a great example of his ability to merge classic and modern sound design.
